My Hope For Today

There will be a happy time in Heaven
When all the saints are gathered around.
We will sing praises to Jesus,
Not a trace of sadness to be found.
All my disappointments forgotten,
Never again shall we roam,
It will be every mile when we get Home!

Many many loved ones will be there,
Wearing robes of purest white,
Those who have gone on before us,
Dwelling in the City of Light.
When the mighty trumpet has sounded,
And we see again, those we've known,
There will be joy on that shore,
When we get Home!

It will be worth every mile,
It'll be worth every trial,
Just to hear him say,
"Well done, child", when we get Home!
Every tear shed in sorrow,
Will be wiped away some tomorrow,
It will be worth everything
When we get Home!

[I found this song sung by 'The Hoppers']
[It is really encouraging to me and brings a sweet spirit over me]
