What A Difference A Day Can Make

It's truly amazing how God works!
As you're going through a trial,
And you see your close friends
Have a victory in their life,
You cannot help but feel and gleam
In the sight of hope.




A day can make a difference in a life.
Whether it be good, or unpleasantly bad;
God always has a plan.
Sometimes, it takes God showing you
Through others' experiences.
The sight of hope and happiness in
Your friend's life puts a new
Perspective on life,
Especially when you've seen them
Suffer for a while.




So, friendship takes on a different meaning now.
It can be so misconceived and mocked.
In the eyes, of a true friend,
You can find strength, rest, and comfort
In knowing that you're not alone
In your darkest hours, and also
In the most jubilant times.




People come, and people go
In and out of our lives;
Sometimes unexplained and unexpected.
But, however, it's all in
The plan of the Mighty Creator
To put the most great jewels in our lives.
Our true friends.
